I got the idea of wrapping gifts in fabric last Christmas, when I had a box too
large for any of my wrapping paper. I had some fabric in the house and just used it.
The more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea. It just makes sense to save
money and the environment by using fabric instead of paper.
The fabrics that I have chosen are cotton and cotton/poly blends.
I have cut them with pinking shears to reduce fraying. If fraying
does occur on reuse, a new edge can be cut very easily.
ReWrap is a brand new company that I started to promote this idea of fabric wrapping.
I am very hopeful that this idea will catch on and that fabric wraps become the norm in the future.
